I have to admit, even though I've come a long way from being a contender for pickiest eater in the universe, sushi is still on my no-go list, but even though I don't eat it, I still think sushi is one of the most appealing types of food in existence, and I love to look at a beautifully crafted roll. This time in Eye Candy, I'm featuring some of the most captivating sushi photos from the Food Network Canada flickr pool . Enjoy! Above: Four examples of sushi bursting with colour, texture, and visual appeal: thatgoddess' photo of ginger and roe-topped rolls, Bougi's tempting California rolls, corrosiveheart's too-cute-for-words bento box, and bitter-sweet's "wandering poet roll." Above: Helldiver's photo of a Chef's Choice platter (from a restaurant in Toronto) looks spectacular. That bright yellow mound on the roll to the left side of the plate is a quail's egg - interesting! Below it is aloalo's snap of a nigiri combo (cropped close-up for texture). Above: And here are four photos for the sushi-phobic, like yours truly: death by cupcake's dessert sushi platter, norwichnuts' vegan fruit roll, velocity girl's fruit sushi, and Jocelyn's take on dessert sushi, which are made with crisp rice cereal! Take a look at the recipe , she swears they're a snap to make. That wraps up this month's Eye Candy Post. Next month will be all about pizza , so upload your tantalizing pizza photos to the Food Network Canada flickr pool and yours could be featured!
