(Inside Nyood, lamb fougasse flatbread, Roger Mooking and me)
We ate, we grooved, we tweeted. I’m talking about Roger Mooking’s Eats, Beats and Tweets event Jessica and I attended last Friday at Nyood.
Despite some technical glitches with the projector, the night turned out to be so much fun. Hands down, Roger Mooking, host of Everyday Exotic, is one of the best chefs in the city. You can totally quote me on that. Everything on the multi-course pre-fix sharing menu was impeccable.
It was also fun to see Roger in action, tweeting, cooking and greeting his customers – this boy has energy to burn!
I also have to give props to DJ Mike Tull who was spinning some wicked tunes (he played Keep on Movin’ (Don’t Stop) by Soul II Soul, one of my fave tunes of all time), and the tweeting was really addictive – a great way to flirt, not that I would know anything about that.
